Word of mouth or world of mouth? The building of Social Media relationships is paramount in the way people will communicate, work and play… Social Media Coaching will be a key source in providing support and understanding for this new wave of technology.

Wikipedia defines Social Media Marketing as: “the process of promoting a site, business, or brand through Social Media channels by engaging and interacting with existing consumers or potential consumers”.

Social Media Marketing, being an internet based community, is closely tied to non-internet based marketing such as word of mouth advertising. The common ground between these two methods of course lies in the “viral marketing” ability of engaging communities and establishing relationships. The main difference lies in the medium in which they are applied.

Social Media Marketing is created through the use of networking in social networks, social groups and social websites.

If you would like to discuss this topic and more with Brian please go to the ”Tungle me” button to the right and select a time that works for you. There’s no sales pitch in the free ”Ask SEO Brian“ service, unless you want to know more about my services.

When using SM (Social Media) for “Inbound Marketing” the three main starting rules are: Listen, Listen and Listen. Don’t talk about you. Start by finding communities that have a similar content to your business… then start making comments, engaging the people there and build relationships. Be clear about your objectives, connect, create and engage.

Viral Marketing is using the social media connections to talk about something you’ve written about, be it a service or a product you provide! A really great tool here is using testimonials to create and establish your “expert” ranking in your field. This is a very quick way to get people talking about your work and referring others to your social media connection.

Link Metrics and non link metrics is so important to SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Another consideration is your website architecture, there is a “flow” to every website and if you miss this connection you will lose potential readers of your website quickly.

Landing Pages are really a sales person greeting people at the door of your business. Having a call to action on a landing page is the most important aspect of the landing page. Also the LP needs to be content related to the connection that brought you to this LP as well and the content has to be the same once you go from the landing page to the website for further information.

Converting Leads to Sales. Leads are people and the first step is to create a relationship with them and nurture this relationship. Know who your ideal client is and make your content interesting to them. With good design you can easily qualify your leads so that you know at what stage they are at to convert from a lead to a client.

Email Marketing can work for you once you know how and when to use it. Again this is a fantastic tool to develop the relationships with the potential clients that have been qualified by earlier steps. Automated email follow up software is one of your best tools and can provide a cycle of supportive emails to your leads.

Analyzing Inbound Traffic can be a great resource for finding out who is coming to your business and why. There are four different types of traffic: Direct, Referral, Search Engine Traffic (paid or organic) and Social Media Traffic.

Public Relations on the web via social media has taken mass media away from the few who controlled it in the past (radio, newspaper and TV) and has put mass media back in the hands of the masses. PR can help to create credibility and can be more lead generating than many other types of SM.

Social Media is knowledge – knowledge is socially mediated! When starting out using SM remember to listen first, second and third. Here’s some other tips (and this works for face to face or online SMM): Listen first, dress nicely, introduce yourself (a great chance to use your elevator speech!) and be a great conversationalist by listening to what the others have to say!

Would you like to know more? All you have to do is contact me to arrange a free chat. It costs you nothing to do this and currently what is the cost of NOT doing this now? You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

A great SEO service should: include creating, testing and monitoring of inbound and outbound links.

Kaojai-SEO solution: We have collected a large database of the factors influencing the rankings of pages on search engines. Our knowledge base includes data about on-the-page factors (the optimality of your HTML code) as well as off-the-page factors (your website’s link popularity on the Internet).

Link popularity is a measure of the quantity and quality of other web sites that link to a specific site on the World Wide Web. It is an example of the move by search engines towards off-the-page-criteria to determine quality content. In theory, off-the-page-criteria adds the aspect of impartiality to search engine rankings. Link popularity plays an important role in the visibility of a web site among the top of the search results. Indeed, some search engines require at least one or more links coming to a web site, otherwise they will drop it from their index. (source on Link Popularity is Wikipedia).

Every customer of Kaojai-SEO receives updates on Link Popularity on a regular basis.

Click on the link below and we will provide a “Free Link Popularity Test” on your home page and provide you with a free copy of the generated report!

Kaojai-SEO has been getting great results with their new SEO Application Tactics. This system was developed by Kaojai-SEO and has been tested over several months to benchmark the results.

By providing our full service SEO package to our clients we have been getting fantastic results for our clients. Many SEO service providers like to review a clients website and in particular their keywords and key phrases. Though we agree this is important, the team at Kaojai-SEO also feels that keyword and key phrase matching to the website content and following “safe SEO practices” are paramount in providing successful “long term” results.

Why do you need to research keywords? The answer is so you can find the most popular, relevant keywords and key phrases your target visitors enter when they search for information, services or products your online company offers.

Before optimizing your web pages for search engine indexing and rankings, you will need to define the keywords and key phrases that best match your business niche, information, services and products. These keywords and key phrases will get you the maximum number of visitors to your online business and they also have to be competitive.

Keyword Matching: start out by analyzing your business niche then complying the best keyword list that matches your information, products and services.

Keyword Competitiveness: test these keywords to see how often they are being searched on the web and how many other companies are using these keywords.

Keyword Optimization: by using the best matched and most competitive keywords and key phrases for your website you will improve your chances of attracting more customers to your business by increasing the “Findability” of your online business.

If you would like to know more about keywords and key phrases please ask your questions in the comment box provided. If you would like to have a 1 to 1 chat with me about your keyword questions or concerns, you can schedule a free chat by clicking on this link: Schedule a Keyword Chat

There seems to be a focus on getting on the number 1 SERP (Search Engine Results Page) as the priority of some SEO (Search Engine Optimization) companies. You will be seen by more people by getting on the number 1 SERP, but does this mean more business? No, it doesn’t, and many people won’t tell you that.

The main focus of SEO should be to “Get Found” and to convert your “Findability” into leads and those leads into paying customers. Can you sell your products and services and not be on the number 1 SERP? Yes, Yes, and Yes. When you think about it for a moment, if the only people selling products and services from the internet are on the number 1 SERP page, the internet as a sales and marketing tool would die within milliseconds.

One question many don’t ask is “Does having good SEO guarantee increased sales?” The answer is no! The best SEO engineers in the world can drive truck loads of traffic to your business with some of it actually being potentially high quality inbound customers. But if your products and services aren’t worth buying then your Inbound Traffic will bounce right out of your life and into the life of your competition!

A great SEO company can help you find good quality “Inbound Traffic” and convert that traffic into leads, but only you, your products and services can convert that into paying customers by providing high quality products and services. [You can put a shop in the middle of Times Square and pay $25,000 in rent per month to be seen by millions, but if you have nothing to sell, you're not making sales!]

Do you want to learn more about the truth, to learn everything you wanted to know about SEO, but didn’t know to ask? Ask Coach Brian! Brian is holding a teleconference on February 22nd at 9pm NY EST. ”Everything you wanted to know about SEO but didn’t know to ask!” Click here to: Book your Place

A survey by Kaojai Coaching indicates that the main concerns of many people are: the number of Social Media channels and the perceived notion of a considerable amount of time a participant has to devote to Social Media activity.

It is clear that most participants of the survey (92.4%) are actively searching or will be actively searching for help and support when it comes to gaining knowledge on Social Media and Social Media Marketing.

However, only 66% of the survey participants would consider “out sourcing” their Social Media Marketing needs.

The survey discovered an interesting comparison: 50% of those surveyed by Kaojai Coaching would consider out sourcing their Social Media Marketing campaign. Yet, 50% of businesses that are managing their own Social Media Marketing campaigns have reported that they haven’t attracted any or very few, potential clients to their websites or “points of sale” in their business. In a report by Socialnomics (2009), 90% of businesses that are out sourcing their Social Media Marketing campaigns are reporting a positive ROI (return on investment).

What does this mean to our readers? If you’re not sure about Social Media Marketing then gaining some clarity and understanding of how it works and why your business should be using Social Media Marketing should be the first steps in applying these SMM tools.

Kaojai-SEO is getting paying customers to our clients. By applying SEO with SMM we are able to deliver better results for our clients. If you would like to know more about how Kaojai-SEO can help you please click in this link: Kaojai-SEO Support!
